Can I waive required courses?

OLDPs can waive one course out of the four courses required in the program if they can provide the course syllabus and transcript for a course that is approved by the department head for substitution.   In addition to the department head's approval, you must get approval from your local site lead and the OLDP Program Office before you will be allowed to waive a course. If you wish to waive a course, please fill out this form and submit it along with the course description and course syllabus.  Your transcript should be on file with the department provided you submitted it with you application.  If you completed the nominated course after acceptance to the GCP at Drexel University, please request it from the university and ask that it be sent to the following location:
