Welcome to the Minor in Engineering Management!

The College of Engineering decided to offer the option of obtaining a Minor in Engineering Management in 2002-2003.  This decision enabled undergraduate students to participate alongside graduate students in their coursework.  While we are always working to offer a wide variety of courses each term, we do not always have a set schedule for these course offerings due to many of their specifications as "Special Topic Courses" which are only permitted to be run twice per year.  Please check with the participating departments (EGMT, CIVE, MEM) prior to registration for each term to ensure they will be offered.

EGMT is a multidisciplinary program offering classes in management, finance and strategy for technology-based organizations which leads to a Master of Science degree.  This core curriculum combined with electives in project management and leadership provides a strong foundation for scientists and engineers to advance as technology leaders in their respective careers.  The skills we teach prepare these men and women to assume managerial and executive responsibilities, helping to 'break them' of their engineering education and give them a more sufficient ability to flourish in a commercial environment.  The graduate students in our program are typically working professionals who decide to further their education after gaining on-the-job experience in their fields.
