Expanded Course Description and Textbooks:
This course will prepare the engineering management student to understand how a contract or specification may be interpreted by a judge, which may differ greatly from the understanding of either the engineer or vendor.
The student will also become familiar with the general obligations imposed by society on all parties to the project with a view toward limiting or mitigating liability. In addition, issues of intellectual property will be covered.
