Provides a review of economic analysis, with emphasis on those phases of major interest to engineering administration. Covers the calculation of economic equivalence, inflation and the purchasing power of money, decision-making among alternatives, evaluation of public activities, and estimateion of costs.

***If you have not had sufficient undergraduate courses in Engineering Economy or Finance, it would be wise to review the book “Managerial Accounting” by Garrison and Noreen prior to starting EGMT531.
