To maintain quality of delivery for all online courses the EGMT program has considered all tactical and academic issues involved in "last minute adds" and requires that all students MUST be enrolled in EGMT courses NO LATER THAN the Friday before term start.
*Note*
The Engineering Management Policy differs from that of the University as it is a solely online program. The administration developed this timeline to aid students in adhering to a required course of action, which will help students be adequately prepared for the uniquely structured courses.
Week 6 - Current Term
Registration opens. Students can begin deciding which courses they will take in the next term. Registration availability will depend upon individual time tickets.
One Week before New Term Start
The department will cut off the number of sections of each course to be offered according to current enrollment numbers. This is to make sure that there are a maximum number of students in each section to provide the right mix of students for discussion and group projects.
Three Days before New Term Start
Final rebalance of sections is done by the department. All students must register and have books in their possession by 12 noon on the Friday before term start (typically a Monday). No student will be added to the courses after this time.
Week One of New Term
Students may drop a course if they so desire, but no new adds will be allowed.
Week Two of New Term
Last week to drop a course without financial penalty. Students may drop a course, but no new adds will be allowed.
