Graduate Certificate in Engineering Management

The Certificate in Engineering Management - an optional professional credential - is awarded to students who successfully complete four graduate-level courses from the M.S. in Engineering Management curriculum: Engineering Management I, Communications, Economics for Engineering Management, and Financial Management I.

This Certificate program is a valuable professional resource for engineers and scientists who want in-depth exposure to skills and knowledge needed for management roles without having to commit to the entire program.

It is part of the curriculum of the M.S. in Engineering Management program, established in 1960 at the request of several Delaware Valley corporations. EGMT 504 - Communications for Engineering Management

EGMT 531 - Economics for Engineering Management (offered in Fall term ONLY)

EGMT 535 - Financial Management I (offered in Winter term ONLY)

The program consists of 4 graduate courses:

After completion of this program a student can continue studies towards an M.S. in Engineering Management. All credits earned through the Certificate program (12) count towards the Master's program. This makes it ideal for students who are interested in gaining an overview of the engineering management field but are not ready yet to commit to the full Master's program.
